So, with Biden getting the VP nod,

Knowing that Biden is adamantly anti-gun. If they get elected, how quickly will it be before it is before federal gun bans and licensing restrictions are put in place?

I say mid 2009

I agree with you, but this has to be pushed through the House and Senate, so it depends on how traitorous those folks become....:smokin:

I doubt the people or the party will make much difference in the coming years.

The concealed carry movement has spread nationwide (almost) and is a losing issue for politicians...Delaware is a concealed carry state.

It will take a little while, months at the least, but shop early and avoid the rush. If they begin working on it, I expect prices will go up, and there will be a lot of competition for supply as everyone rushes to stock up. It's not that people haven't already been stocking up with an eye to something like this happening again, but you know how it is when we see limits on the horizon. Even those prepared tend to want more! I'm trying to save for an M14 and find one to buy private purchase before things get ugly. (I already have an M1A, but I'd really like a good M14.)

What worries me a lot is what might follow. It wasn't passed, but a bill was introduced in Georgia a few years back that would have required rifles of most types to be registered then reregistered yearly with huge fees attached each year. I did the math (I have over 20 firearms with paper trails), and the fees would have killed me! A good reason to stick to private purchases!

Yea that bill was introduced in Tennessee too. Just about the same time. The Bradys were hitting a bunch of states at the same time. Nothin came of it though. Dont worry about GA, them good ol boys up in the N GA Mountains and down in South GA aint goin to let that happen! LOL!

Yep, that's the stereotypical militia type I recall, 300 pound warriors.

Looking at the pic I ponder whether chubby has already been profiled at Homeland....sad state we've become eh?
